Dipped in Glitter
I'm obsessed with this teal from Color Club! I thought about leaving it plain but after watching Mizzchievious's latest nail art tutorial I decided to dip my tips in some glitter and take this look up a notch! :)

Drupal Nails
I just got back from Drupalcon in Denver and while I was there I had to rock some Drupal nails! In case you aren't in the know, Drupal is a content management tool that can be used to create awesome websites, it is what I work on everyday at my day job! While I was there I met another nail art girl from New York and we painted other Drupalchix nails to look like ours!

Snowman Nails
Happy Friday! Anyone have snow where they live? If so, you might enjoy these cute snowman nails!
This look started with a couple of coats of OPI's Road House Blues. Then I stamped the cute little snowmen from a stamp I got from Born Pretty Store. The snowman on his own was cute, but didn't feel like enough, so I pulled out my dotting tool and dotted in some snow falling and some snow on the ground. Then the look seemed a little too white, so I dotted in some Zoya Ivanka for the scarf to add a little color.

Snowflake Tips
Here is a swatch of my base coat, Revlon Blue Lagoon. I achieved this look with two coats of Blue Lagoon, stamping from Konad plate m59 across the tips, and a coat of China Glaze Snow Cap to give the look even more shimmer.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas over here!

Zoya Cynthia gets the peacock treatment
I just adore Zoya's Cynthia. It is such a pretty murky blue-green color. I thought it would be a perfect shade to stamp these gorgeous peacock feathers on from BM212. I stamped the design with the Sally Hansen Color Quick in Turquoise Chrome.
As you can tell I tried the design going in both directions (one way on each hand). I can't decide which I like better. Feel free to sound off in the comments. And tell me what your favorite color from Zoya's fall collection is.

Neon Chevron French Tips
This post is from the vault, man do I miss my long nails! I can't wait until they grow back to this length! *sigh* I got this really cute Sally Hansen color recently (Fairy Teal), and I wanted to use it right away. So I did a free-hand chevron tip with Milani's Totally 80's accented with a black striper
I think chevron tips are a great way to change up the typical french manicures.

Tiffany Box Nails
As you may know by now, Pinterest is my crack! I am on it all the time, pinning awesome things. I have a whole board of nail inspiration, and whenever I have no idea what I want to do with my nails, I always go there for ideas. That is where today's manicure comes from. I saw this adorable Tiffany Box inspired mani a long time ago, and decided to recreate it and put my own spin on it.
Base color is China Glaze For Audrey, which is just the perfect Tiffany blue. I free-handed the bows with a white striper polish. I think this would be a fun look for the holiday season in different colors, so I hope it inspires you! Let me know what you think! And if you are on Pinterest, comment with a link to your board so I can follow you!

NOTD: Make a Wish
Simple manicure for you today. I started with a base color of Sally Hansen Gray by Gray, and then stamped some cute little flowers that remind me of the ones that float away in a breeze that you can make a wish on.
I think this design is on one of the Big Fat Plates on eBay, I did this manicure with Bevy and used her stamps, so I can't remember which design it was. (bad blogger! :P) If you know where this design can be found, let me know in the comments, and I'll edit the post. Hope you like it!

NOTD: Playing with Bundle Monster
Simple little mani for you today. My bro was over on Sunday and he just has excellent taste in manicure ideas, so here is one that he picked for me. I started with a base coat of China Glaze Shower Together:
Then, I added a an image from a new Bundle Monster plate (223) using Rimmel Grey Matter
I really like how simple this manicure is and it's so great that the new Bundle Monster plates cover the whole nail! It makes application so much easier. I was also surprised how well Grey Matter stamped. Add that to your list of regular polishes that stamp well. Of course after I stamped it I thought about my Silver Sweep and how much more that would've stood out on this color, but that's okay, I'll just tuck it away for a future date ;)

Dolphin Nails
These nails would be perfect for a vacation. They remind me of all the times I just sat on the beach watching the dolphins jump in the air.
Base color is Zoya Yummy. Tips are China Glaze Dorothy Who? Stamping was done with the Hello Kitty plate from Born Pretty using Zoya Ibiza.
What are your vacation plans this year? I know I can't wait to hit the beach in August. Have you done any great beach themed manicures lately? I'd love to see them! Just share the link in the comments!

Audrey's Jewels
For this manicure I started off with China Glaze For Audrey, which is a perfect Tiffany blue color. Then I stamped the necklace design from my big fat plate, and added some rhinestones as pendants to the necklace.
I couldn't decide between lots of rhinestones and just one.
What do you think?

Happy Memorial Day Nails!
Last night we had our weekly dinner at my grandmother's and I decided to bring my nail stuff to give my grammy some gorgeous patriotic nails :) And of course I had to do mine as well! :)
Here are my Grandma's nails! I painted them in my favorite hot red: Zoya Sookie! Then I stamped a cute star USA design from a fauxnad plate (M37) I got from Born Pretty. You can get the stamp in this set. She loved the final outcome! It felt very patriotic to me!
Here is my design:
I used Zoya Tallulah on my thumb and pointer nails, and then stamped the stars from Konad M3 all over them with Konad special white polish.
Then I painted the rest of my nails with Zoya Purity, and stamped the stripes from BM20 using Konad's special red polish. These stripes didn't cover my nails perfectly, so I had to strategically place my thumb to cover up a bad match up of the design. I really don't know how ladies with really long nails align stamps so perfectly. I usually fail at it miserably. If you have any suggestions for how to do that better, please let me know.
Exciting news! I passed 200 followers this weekend! So, I just wanted to send a BIG shout out to all of you for following my blog, and being so awesome! I love every single comment I get and I have loved finding new blogs to follow.

Sparkle Raindrops
On a recent trip to Sally's I saw For Audrey right beside Shower Together in the China Glaze display, and knew they not only HAD to be mine, but that they would look perfect together! So, here are the polishes I chose for today's manicure:
From left to right: NYC 105A Starry Silver Glitter, China Glaze For Audrey, China Glaze Shower Together.
Base coat is CG For Audrey, which is SUCH a gorgeous light blue.
Then I did something a little kooky! Instead of the typical half-moon, I used CG Shower Together to make it into a cloud shape instead.
Then, I added this Starry Silver Glitter because I knew it had big chunks that will look like rain drops. I really love this glitter. It's really cute.
I wish all rain showers were this sparkly! :) What do you guys think?

Blue and White Ceramic Inspired Nails
As I mentioned in my "Whip My Nails" post, I'm currently working my way through the FABULOUS Robin Moses nail art tutorials on YouTube. As soon as I saw this one, I just knew I had to try it!
I LOVE this style of ceramics. My grandmother has a gorgeous collection of them, so I've always had fond memories of them. And if I was going to try this design, I had to do it before my nails broke. I knew a breakage was coming soon and while my nails were the perfect length, I had to take advantage of it. I started by painting the tips white and then went to town with this all hand-painted design. The color I used here is Zoya Breezi.
Left hand. It was a little harder on this hand, plus I had some nubbins to deal with, which didn't give much room to get details on.
I'm so proud of this design. I think this is my favorite manicure to date! I just love Robin for giving me and all of her followers the confidence to try to tackle such detailed work! If you haven't checked her out yet, please do! I'm really looking forward to trying more of her designs, and creating some of my own in the future! Do you have a favorite Robin Moses tutorial you think I should try? Let me know in the comments!
Also, don't expect any more frenchies any time soon. As predicted, I broke about 3 nails this weekend. Oh, and because I loved this manicure so much, I left it on for like 3 days, which is rare for me, which means I might not have enough designs to do 5 days of manicures this week, which is my goal. I'll try though!

Going Nautical!
Been seeing a lot of nautical nails lately, and now that I have my Bundle Monster plates and this hot new blue, it was time for me to jump on the bandwagon. I started this manicure with China Glaze Frostbite. This is such a HOT blue. It is soooo electric and fierce! I love the color. Not a huge fan of China Glaze's formula though. It feels like it takes FOREVER to dry and set, which means I am constantly getting smudges on my nails, which I HATE! I probably redid my second finger 5 times through this manicure. I just kept messing it up! I had this same problem with Shower Together when I put it on my toes a few weeks ago. UGH! I think I'm just used to Zoya and how fast and smooth it dries. I just never have a problem with their formula, they've totally spoiled me.
What do you think? Are you feeling the nautical theme lately, or are you totally over it? I'm definitely feeling it, especially on Emily's Naughti-Cool Nails this week! Girl's got skillz!

Diamonds are a girl's best friend
Simple manicure for you today. I got this gorgeous aqua color from Forever 21. And stamped little diamonds on it using konad special white. The diamond is from a fauxnad plate I got from Born Pretty Store.
