Saw OPI's Kiss me on my two lips in my helmer and decided I was in the mood for a hot pink! I know these shades are usually reserved for spring and summer, but I think there is no reason why they can't be pulled out in the winter to brighten things up!

Gorgeous Pink Gradient
Inspired by the gorgeous azaleas in bloom outside, I decided to do a pretty pink manicure. I started with China Glaze Strawberry Fields as my base and then sponged Zoya Rica on the tips.

Neon Valentines Day
I was really feeling China Glaze Shocking Pink for this Vday look. I knew I wanted some black designs on it so I free handed different designs on each finger. I carried my neon love down to my toes for some freehand hearts.

Soft Pink French
Been loving the Zoya winter neutral collection Feel lately! One of my favorite colors is Kennedy. She is such a pretty light pink! I decided to top her off today with Zoya Mia, and it turned out to be a really pretty neutral work-friendly look!

Crazy Animal Print Nails
Confession time: I have a very crazy pair of pajamas! And every time I wear these, I think omg I have to do a nail look inspired by these jammies! Here is the inspiration fabric:
And here are my nails:
This look was achieved by started with a white base. I then sponged a light purple, a light pink, dark pink, and dark purple to create the gradient look. Then, I used a black striper to draw the zebra stripes and the leopard spots.
So, what do you think? Did I match my inspiration well? What weird things have inspired your nails lately? Let me know in the comments!

Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Ribbon Nails
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, I wanted to share some pretty special nails I created. This look started with a base coat of Zoya Portia. The pink ribbon was created free-hand using Zoya Areej (one of my favorite polishes of all time!), and then I top coated with Color Club's Starry Temptress.
As you can see, my nails are now nubbins! You may see some more designs from the vault with longer tips, but sadly, I had some unfortunate breakies so frenchies will have to hold off until they grow.

Pink Leopard Nail Art
Dotting tools aren't just for creating nail art, they are also great for embellishing stamping. I love to use mine to apply rhinestones and add some color to stamped designs. Case in point: today's pink Wednesday manicure!
I started this manicure with Zoya Raven. Then stamped the leopard print (Konad M57) with a white stamping polish. Then, using my dotting tool, I filled in the holes of the leopard print with Zoya Mod Matte Lolly.
Don't have a dotting tool yet? Here's the set I have from Born Pretty Store.

Coral/Pink Nails for Wednesday
So, not sure if this color counts as pink. It's a bit coral, but I really love it. I don't have anything else like it in my collection. It doesn't have a name, but I got it from Ross and it is by the Cosmetic Arts company, who also make Color Club. It was a dream to apply, and I got full coverage in two coats. I decided to stamp this gorgeous color with one of my favorite stamps from Bundle Montster, BM204.
I know this is kind of springy and we are now entering into fall, but let's just consider this an end of summer mani! How cute is the BM204 stamp? I love these little flowers! So, can I still sit with you guys if my nails are coral, not pink?

Hot Pink Zebra Nails
I must start out by saying that I am so sorry for my absence. I have just been sooooooooooooooo busy and I hate that I've neglected my little bloggy. I promise to make more time for you in the future!
Ok, so now to today's Pink Wednesday manicure, holy hotness! I know this look has been done a zillion times before, but I don't care, these nails were SO MUCH FUN! Srsly, if you have never done anything this bright and fierce on your nails before, DO IT!!!! DO IT NOW!!!! Here's the look:
Here's how to achieve this look:
XOXO!
-Jen
Here's how to achieve this look:
- Start out with a base of China Glaze Shocking Pink (neon) - a color very true to it's name ;) I used 3 coats.
- Then add a diagonal french using your favorite white, you may need 2 coats for full coverage. You could tape this off for a clean line like I did in this manicure, but I didn't because I knew I would be going over the line with black.
- Using a black striper (mine is from Art Club) draw a line where the white meets the pink.
- Still using the black striper you can draw your zebra lines OR you can tape off your pink side and stamp the zebra print like I had on my zebra kisses konadicure. I know konad, born pretty and bundle monster all have at least one zebra print design on their plates.
- Let your design dry really good, and then top coat. I used Seche Vite because it does a good job of not smearing the design.
- (Optional) Before the top coat dries, add your rhinestones on the black line.
XOXO!
-Jen

Pink Starry Glitter
Simple little Pink Wednesday post for you today! I started with OPI Italian Love Affair as my base:
And then added a coat of NYX starry glitter over top:
I really like this subtle effect. I just wish someone would invent either 1) a glitter polish remover or 2) easy remove glitter polish! Why is it so hard to take off! Almost makes you not want to wear it, but its not gonna stop me! Any tips for glitter removal, or great removers or glitter polishes I should try? Let me know! Hope you are having a lovely pink Wednesday!

Zebra Nails with Kisses!
Saw a set of nail decals recently that were zebra print with lips and decided to recreate the look with my bundle monster plates.
The zebra print stamp is from BM223 (from their second set) and the kisses are from BM02 (from their first set). Nail blogger protip: Sally Hansen Insta Dri polishes are great for stamping! The pink in the picture is called Presto Pink.

Zoya Dove and Portia French Twist
The manicure I have for you today is just precious. It is so cute and sophisticated. I really love the color combination of a light pink and light gray, and I find that Zoya Dove and Zoya Portia fit the bill perfectly.
I was inspired for this manicure by this beauty on Pinterest. I'm slowly working my way through my Nail Ideas board over there. It is such a great place to store inspiration. If you have a board where you collect nail inspiration, please link it up over here because I'm always looking for new ideas!
The little heart stickers on this mani came from a bottle of Seche Vite I bought a while back. Previously seen in this post.
So, tell me what you think! And feel free to share your Pinterest links! I've already done two other Pinterest inspired manicures that I can't wait to show you!

Blast from the Past Accent Nail
Hi lovelies!!!! Sorry I haven't been posting much. Work has just been CRAZY!!!! I have so much I want to post, I just haven't had the time to schedule the posts. I'm hoping to make some time this weekend to get this blog back in gear!
So, new manicure for you today featuring the gorgeous Zoya Tama as my base color:
And then when I was at my mom's recently, I found an old bottle of nail polish from Afterthoughts! Do you remember this store? I think it was like a Claire's. So the bottle must be at least 8 years old, but it is such a pretty chunky glitter! It went great with Tama, so I put it on as an accent nail because I feel like I never do those!
Do you like? Do you have any dusty polishes that you are holding on to? Are you a fan of the accent nail?

Chevron French Tape Tutorial Pink Wednesday Edition
I hope you lovelies liked my tape tutorial last week because that same night I tried another look using the same colors! I started this manicure with a base coat in Zoya Purity. Then I pulled off a small piece of tape making sure to de-stickify it a bit before placing it on my nail. You can see in this picture where to place it for a chevron french:
Then I went over the tape with Zoya Lolly and removed the tape before it dried:
As you can see I didn't cut my tape, I just pulled it off the dispenser because I knew I was going to cover my line with a striper. If you want a cleaner line, then make sure to cute the tape using scissors.
Here is the final look! I really like these colors together. It feels very preppy, like something you'd wear to play tennis or something! I hope you've liked these two tape tutorials!
Green striper and Lolly were provided for my consideration by Nail De Royale.

Femme Fatale Tour Nails
Last night was one of the best nights ever!!!! I got to see two of the fiercest bitches around perform in the most epic concert of all time!!!!! (aka Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj in the Femme Fatale tour) We had awesome seats, and of course I had to do my nails up right for the night! Here's some pics from the show:
To match my nails to the fierceness of these two lovelies, I turned to Pinterest for some inspiration, and found this:
Fierce right? Here is my interpretation:

I started my nails with a base of Zoya Charisma and then sponged the tips with a sparkly black from Forever 21's Love and Polish brand. Seen previously here. I loved this look, but for some reason my tips have chipped badly! I'm in need of a new manicure STAT!
Been to any great concerts lately? If you get a chance to catch Brit Brit on the Femme Fatale tour, DO IT!!!!! It was amazing!

Pink Wednesday Tape Manicure Tutorial!
Hi lovelies! Sorry for the lack of posts this week. My job has been very demanding of my spare time, so I haven't had a chance to post all the adorable manicures I've been doing lately, but I promise to make some time to schedule some posts because I definitely have a lot to show you!
First, I just want to thank everyone for the great feedback I've been getting with the giveaway entries! It's not too late to enter, so do it now! One of the requests I got was to add some functionality so that you can subscribe to my blog through email, so that is now a new block on the ride sidebar, I hope you'll use it! I also got a request for more tape manicures with tutorial, so I have one of those for you today, and I'll have another one for you next pink Wednesday using the same colors in a different way.
I'll be honest with you, I've had trouble with tape manicures in the best screwing up my base coat, which is why I don't post them often, but I think I've found the solution! So, first step is to start with a base color of your manicure. I'm starting with Zoya Purity:
I put a coat of Seche Vite over this and let it dry for a long time to avoid smudging my base coat. Then I prepped my tape for my manicure. For the diagonal french, I just needed to pull off a strip of regular tape, then I touched the tape a few times to remove some of the stickiness, and then placed it on my nail diagonally.
Press the tape down well and then paint your second color always going in the same direction so you don't accidentally get under the tape. My second color is one of the new Zoya Mod Matte shades called Lolly.
Once your finished painting, peel off the tape. Don't wait for it to dry, this will make sure the tape removes cleanly.
Now that I have my perfect diagonal french, I took a great neon green nail art striper from NaildeRoyale.com along with some cute star sequins also from Nail De Royale and played with them. You'll see in the pictures below, I played with the placement a bit before I decided on my favorite placement.
This turned out to be such a fun bright manicure! I got a lot of compliments on it today.
The neon green striper, star sequins, and Zoya Lolly were all sent to me for my review from Nail De Royale. If you are looking for good prices on nail polishes, and nail art supplies, definitely check them out!
Hope you liked my first tape manicure tutorial!
