Pretty Christmas Party Nails
I had my company Christmas party last week, and I wanted a really classy ornate Christmas design on my nails for the event. Here is what I came up with:
Check this out ^ I even managed to do the design on my left hand!
Here are the steps I took:
Funny Story: I actually went and got a professional pedicure the day of my company Christmas party, and the ladies at the nail salon were studying my manicure HARDCORE! They all couldn't believe I did it myself, and wanted to know how I did it of course! ;)

Here are the steps I took:
- Drew a diagonal french on each nail with Sally Hansen Insta Dri Silver Sweep.
- Using a detailing brush, I created the cute little swirls in Zoya Verushka. I followed this tutorial on Youtube to teach me how to draw the swirls.
- After a coat of Seche Clear I added three little red rhinestones to represent some Holly Berries.

Neon Chevron French Tips
This post is from the vault, man do I miss my long nails! I can't wait until they grow back to this length! *sigh* I got this really cute Sally Hansen color recently (Fairy Teal), and I wanted to use it right away. So I did a free-hand chevron tip with Milani's Totally 80's accented with a black striper
I think chevron tips are a great way to change up the typical french manicures.

Hot Pink Zebra Nails
I must start out by saying that I am so sorry for my absence. I have just been sooooooooooooooo busy and I hate that I've neglected my little bloggy. I promise to make more time for you in the future!
Ok, so now to today's Pink Wednesday manicure, holy hotness! I know this look has been done a zillion times before, but I don't care, these nails were SO MUCH FUN! Srsly, if you have never done anything this bright and fierce on your nails before, DO IT!!!! DO IT NOW!!!! Here's the look:
Here's how to achieve this look:
XOXO!

Here's how to achieve this look:
- Start out with a base of China Glaze Shocking Pink (neon) - a color very true to it's name ;) I used 3 coats.
- Then add a diagonal french using your favorite white, you may need 2 coats for full coverage. You could tape this off for a clean line like I did in this manicure, but I didn't because I knew I would be going over the line with black.
- Using a black striper (mine is from Art Club) draw a line where the white meets the pink.
- Still using the black striper you can draw your zebra lines OR you can tape off your pink side and stamp the zebra print like I had on my zebra kisses konadicure. I know konad, born pretty and bundle monster all have at least one zebra print design on their plates.
- Let your design dry really good, and then top coat. I used Seche Vite because it does a good job of not smearing the design.
- (Optional) Before the top coat dries, add your rhinestones on the black line.
XOXO!
-Jen

Chevron French Tape Tutorial Pink Wednesday Edition
I hope you lovelies liked my tape tutorial last week because that same night I tried another look using the same colors! I started this manicure with a base coat in Zoya Purity. Then I pulled off a small piece of tape making sure to de-stickify it a bit before placing it on my nail. You can see in this picture where to place it for a chevron french:
Then I went over the tape with Zoya Lolly and removed the tape before it dried:
As you can see I didn't cut my tape, I just pulled it off the dispenser because I knew I was going to cover my line with a striper. If you want a cleaner line, then make sure to cute the tape using scissors.
Here is the final look! I really like these colors together. It feels very preppy, like something you'd wear to play tennis or something! I hope you've liked these two tape tutorials!
Green striper and Lolly were provided for my consideration by Nail De Royale.
