Neon Valentines Day

I was really feeling China Glaze Shocking Pink for this Vday look. I knew I wanted some black designs on it so I free handed different designs on each finger. I carried my neon love down to my toes for some freehand hearts.

Today is National Wear Red Day

So I painted my toes the beautiful Zoya Sookie and stamped from the first set of Bundle Monster plates.

Flip Flop Friday: Houndstooth Toes

Went to 5 Below recently and found some Jinx Nail Polish Strips, and I thought they would be perfect for my toes. I tend to change my nail color about 5 times a week, so these nail polish strips are kind of wasted on my fingers, but on my toes, I only change them out about once a week, so I these would be a great way to spice up my standard pedicure.

I think houndstooth is sooo cute! Have you tried nail polish strips on your toes yet? Did you know they sell nail stuff at 5 Below? I scored some major steals last time I was there including some Art Club stripers, some Funky finger glitters and Sally Hansen Chrome polishes!

Vacation Mani Pedi

I recently went on a little beach vacay and decided to try out the new Sally Hansen Salon Effects for the week! I chose this black and white floral print, and I must say, I was very impressed with them! They stayed on the whole week. I got a TON of compliments! I think people just aren't used to seeing these yet. They were pretty easy to put on, but they do take some time to apply because you want them to look so perfect and last a long time, ya know?
In an effort to do a pedicure that lasted a whole week, I went with a glitter sandwich.
It lasted FOREVER, and really reminded me of one of my favorite pins on Pinterest:
Hope this gave you some ideas for long lasting manicures and pedicures for your upcoming vacays!  xoxo!

China Glaze Four Leaf Clover with a Herringbone Design!

So, I'm kind of in love with China Glaze Four Leaf Clover. Around St. Patty's Day EVERYONE was using this color and it became such a lemming of mine. I wanted it so bad! So, when Sally had their free China Glaze promotion last month, I had to use it to get this gorgeous color, and let me tell you, it lived up to its reputation of a GORGEOUS Kelly Green.
Please forgive my crappy iphone pic of the swatch. I did this mani over at my mom's and was only able to grab a quick snapshot on my phone before I started stamping.

Here is my final manicure.  I used BM 201 plate for the herringbone pattern.  I really loved this manicure.  It felt so trendy to me!  Speaking of trendy, the same night I did this mani, I also reunited with my lover, Pippa, this time on my toes! :D
Something about yellow toes makes me soooooo happy!  BTW, check out my new ottoman from Homegoods, isn't it cute?  Homegoods is definitely a weakness of mine!  I always bring home the cutest decor stuff from there.

A bit of warning on these vivid China Glaze colors: THEY STAIN!  I use a base coat all the time, and I only ever have trouble with my China Glaze colors staining my nails.  Does anyone else have problems with this brand and staining?  Do I really have to buy a CG base coat to wear their gorgeous colors?  Any tips for me on these, please tell me I'm not the only one that has this problem with China Glaze.  One time I accidentally wore Shower Together without a basecoat on my toes and I STILL have a little staining on my big toe from it.  Lesson learned, for sure.  Just wish there was a way to wear these colors without the staining.

Flip Flop Friday: Tiger Toes

I'm not gonna lie to you, my toes are not super cute.  In fact, my mom compares them to the feet on the Flinstones.  Sweet, right?  But, this week my pedicure is sooooo cute, I just had to share this design with you.

I call it Tiger Toes.  I painted the base using Zoya Austine and using some new nail art brushes, I free-handed some black lines to make the tiger stripes. What do you think?  Would you rock it?  Feel free to call me Tiger Toes from now on :D
